Expedition Overview

Located southeast of Quito, Antisana National Park is one of Ecuador’s most pristine protected areas and premier destinations for high-altitude wildlife observation. Travel through Valle de los Chillos and Pintag ascending into the wild páramo ecosystem. Admire the colossal Antisana Volcano (5,758 m / 18,885 ft) with its glacier-covered peaks and ancient lava flows. Antisana is Ecuador’s prime sanctuary to spot the majestic wild Andean condor with its 3-meter wingspan, along with wild llamas, deer, and foxes.
